Winner Offshore Open-Top Standard Offshore Container: The Perfect Integration of Modular Design and Extreme Environments
Winner Offshore's open-top standard offshore container (offshore standard container) is tailor-made for marine engineering and heavy cargo transportation. Its design, production, and inspection strictly adhere to the ISO 10855 international container standards and DNV 2.7-1 offshore equipment specifications, ensuring structural stability and global logistics compliance from the source.
In response to the corrosive marine environment with high salt spray and high humidity, the container offers two anti-corrosion solutions: high-film-thickness paint coating (salt spray resistance ≥ 3000 hours) or hot-dip galvanizing system (zinc layer thickness ≥ 85μm), forming a dual protective barrier. This significantly enhances rust resistance, with a service life of over 20 years. For lifting, optional 4-leg or 5-leg wire rope slings are available, all certified by DNV 2.7-1, with a single sling breaking force of over 50 tons, suitable for complex lifting scenarios such as offshore platforms and ports.
The core functional design highlights flexibility: the cargo retaining structure combines internal lashing rings and reinforcing beams to prevent cargo displacement during transportation; the top arch beam is welded with thickened section steel to enhance the container's deformation resistance while avoiding interference with the top lifting space; the detachable top and waterproof tarpaulin (wind resistance ≥ level 10) allow for quick loading and unloading of ultra-high cargo, such as wind turbine blades and large machinery. The edges of the tarpaulin are sealed with double-layer waterproof rubber strips to ensure cargo safety in rainy and snowy weather.
In terms of logistics efficiency, 10-foot open-top containers can be quickly spliced into 20-foot ISO standard containers via horizontal twist locks, adapting to the global liner transportation system and saving more than 30% of transit time. The container also supports wide-temperature operation from -20℃ to 55℃ and can be customized with other sizes and configurations, such as explosion-proof lighting and ventilation systems, as needed. It has been successfully applied in scenarios such as offshore oil and gas platform equipment transportation and port heavy machinery turnover, becoming a reliable transportation carrier in the marine engineering field.
