Winner Offshore Blast-Proof Shelter: A Mobile Safety Fortress in High-Risk Environments

Winner Offshore's Blast-Proof Shelter is specifically designed for onshore and offshore industrial scenarios involving toxic gases/liquids. It constructs a movable safe working space through a dual protection mechanism of 12psi blast resistance rating and 200ms instantaneous response. Its core design integrates an explosion-proof structure, intelligent monitoring, and a positive pressure filtration system, serving as a reliable barrier in high-risk fields such as chemical engineering, oil and gas, and pharmaceuticals.

I. Blast-Resistant Structure: Hardcore Guarantee of Physical Protection

Adopting a high-strength alloy steel frame and an explosion-proof composite material shell, it can withstand 12psi (approximately 0.827bar) explosion shock waves and instantaneous pressure impacts within 200 milliseconds. The shelter is equipped with bidirectional explosion-proof doors and double-layer tempered explosion-proof glass windows. The door frame features a triple-seal rubber strip design, with impact resistance 30% higher than traditional structures. The one-sided pressure relief wall, through a preset weak area, can directionally release internal pressure in the event of an explosion, avoiding overall structural damage to the shelter.

II. Positive Pressure Filtration System: Breathing Safety in Dynamic Environments

The shelter integrates a positive pressure gas circulation system, which continuously injects clean air filtered through three stages (primary + activated carbon + HEPA) via an explosion-proof fan. It maintains the internal air pressure 50-100Pa higher than the external environment, completely isolating the intrusion of toxic gases. The gas filtration module can handle multiple hazardous media such as hydrogen sulfide (HS) and methane (CH) simultaneously, with a filtration efficiency of 99.97% (for 0.3μm particles) and support for 72 hours of continuous operation. When excessive external gas concentration is detected, the system automatically switches to emergency air supply mode, providing an additional 4 hours of life support through a built-in compressed air tank.

III. Electrical Safety: Intrinsically Safe Intelligent Hub

All electrical components have passed ATEX II 2G Ex db IIC T4 and CNEX certifications, suitable for Zone 1/2 explosive gas environments. The shelter is equipped with an explosion-proof PLC control system, integrating multi-parameter gas monitoring (0-100% LEL combustible gas, 0-30% O, 0-100ppm CO), temperature and humidity regulation (18-28 automatic adjustment), and 110-decibel sound and light alarms. Data is uploaded to the central control platform in real-time via a 4G module. The LED explosion-proof lighting system adopts a redundant power supply design, which can maintain 8 hours of emergency lighting after the main power supply is interrupted.

IV. Modular Design: Flexible Adaptation to Diverse Scenarios

Adopting ISO container standard sizes (20'/40'), it can be quickly deployed to the site by sea or land transportation, with installation time shortened to 4 hours. The internal space can be custom partitioned, such as dividing into operation areas, equipment areas, and emergency supplies storage areas, supporting the integration of explosion-proof air conditioners, industrial-grade dehumidifiers, and first-aid stations. The shelter surface is sprayed with a polyurea protective coating (thickness ≥1.5mm), which shows no rust after 1000 hours of salt spray testing, making it suitable for the highly corrosive environment of offshore platforms.

V. Rigorous Verification and Industry Practice

This product has passed DNV GL typhoon certification (wind speed >40m/s) and MSHA (U.S. Mine Safety and Health Administration) impact testing. In a simulated leakage scenario on a deep-sea drilling platform, it successfully controlled the combustible gas concentration inside the shelter below 5% LEL. In practical applications in a chemical industrial park, its methane monitoring accuracy reaches ±1.5% LEL, helping enterprises pass OSHA (U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration) compliance reviews.
